Bluebird Haven is a secret paradise tucked away in
​the heart of Texas...

This matchless venue hosts manicured grounds surrounded by creeks, massive oak trees and 30 lush acres. The property supports vast wildlife including the venue’s namesake, the bluebird. This natural setting exudes a country atmosphere and yet we are centrally located. We are  only 60 minutes to  The Woodlands, 2 hours from Dallas, 40 min. to Bryan and College Station, and 30 minutes to Huntsville just off I-45. Bluebird Haven offers different settings ranging from rustic scenes to country elegance with a diverse array of photo opportunities. It feels as if you enter a secret paradise tucked away in the heart of Texas.
​The town square is only minutes away. The heartbeat of Bluebird Haven is to be a place of peace where dreams can come true. As a native born Texan I was raised with a southern hospitality. All three of my children have similar values. I am the proud mother of one daughter from University of Texas and two sons that are Texas A&M graduates. 

The Manor has lodging for 14 guest featuring my personal Art Gallery  providing you and your guests an interest to explore.

My greatest aspiration is to live my journey well. Family has always been ever present in my mind as I hope to leave a legacy of love behind for my children and grandchildren. Art has always been a creative expression of what I am passionate about. The sound of laughter is the color of joy to my mind. I dream  to create the atmosphere of heaven here on earth for all people to come and explore the goodness of God. After 25 years of raising my family I finally finished my formal education from Sam Houston Sate University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art. 
 
I bring the art world to the wedding experience offering a unique caveat.  I create a painting of the love story and write a blessing for your marriage.  
I love to paint the emotive feeling I intuitively feel after visiting with the wedding couple. Your painting and your love story blessing are as special as you are.

Paige Garcia 
Office Assistant / Wedding Associate

Paige is currently a student at Sam Houston State University studying Education, with the hopes of being an intermediate school teacher. Paige would be there for all your wedding needs. She hopes to make your wedding journey as magical as possible!

Donna works along side Sallie and Paige to make sure the couple's day is perfect and meets their expectation. She is also a hair stylist here in Madisonville. Her greatest assets are her friendly hospitality and creative energy. 

​Gary Tanel 
​​ Director of Operations

.Gary Tanel was an engineering manager at Texas Instruments Defense Systems for 20 years and then started his own electronics contract manufacturing company in Dallas.  Before retiring, he was the membership director of an international electronics association.  Gary now enjoys managing the business operations side of Bluebird Haven Estates

Alana Lavender 
Grounds Supervisor

Alana loves the outdoors, gardening and any living thing.  Her abilities are beyond limit. She can plant a landscape and fix a truck all in the same day. She is the mother of four great kids and keeps Bluebird Haven beautiful.
