I saw this vision in a worship service of women with Teresa Nix in Leona, Texas: there was a golden wave over a patch of a colored, checkered pattern with a gold rope and a pillar of fire. I explained what I saw to the women present. I did not know what it meant, but I felt it was from the Lord. A friend said, “Sallie, listen to this verse from the Original Jewish Language Bible.”
“Inside the palace, the King's daughter looks splendid,
attired in checker-work embroidered with gold. In brocade,
she will be led to the King; to you with the virgins in her
retinue. They will be led in with gladness and joy; they will
enter the King’s palace.” Psalm 45:13-14
Later that evening, I was painting, believing the Lord for the interpretation of the vi-sion. I painted with calm assurance that He would bring it to pass. During this process, an-other friend, Jessica Greenhaw came over with her daughter. I gave the daughter paper and chalk to let her create her own piece. The mother was perplexed by the painting. She asked the Lord, “Is it checkers—or is it a flag?”
The Holy Spirit spoke to her heart and said, “The colors represent the daughters of the nation's, covered in my glory, guarded by my fire as they press on into my presence.”
The Lord so blessed me with the interpretation. It was such a confirmation to me that I was seeing something from the Lord, for it was not only confirmed in the interpretation of one person, but two, and through His word in a translation I had never read.
